Ron Faith

President & CEO

Ron leads Datacastle’s strategy and business operations. He has 20 years of experience in senior operations, business development, and product development positions in software and services businesses. Prior to Datacastle, he served as VP and GM of the Mobile and Broadband Commerce business at Qpass (acquired by Amdocs). Prior to Qpass, he was at Apple heading up program management for Internet products as well as worldwide software configuration management. Ron holds a dual degree from Dartmouth College in Engineering Sciences and Philosophy. He also holds a MSEE from the University of Washington.

Gary Sumner

Founder & CTO

Gary is the technology visionary and founder of Datacastle Corporation. He has 20 years of experience in the design, development, and implementation of technology solutions across multiple industries. Prior to Datacastle, he spent 10 years in numerous roles at Microsoft, including Technical Architect for the Communications Sector hosting solutions, and as Product Unit Manager for one of Microsoft’s “Live” services. Previously, Gary spent two years as Chief Software Architect at Peakhour in Australia, and five years at Andersen Consulting.

Craig Blessing

VP Sales & Business Development, North America

Craig is responsible for sales and business development activities in North America. He has over 20 years of channel sales experience and has worked with partners across the globe. Craig has led sales operations for both private and public companies including two of CRN’s Top 100 Cloud Computing Vendors. After starting his career at Apple Computer, Craig has worked in the managed services and cloud computing arena with N2H2, PivotLink, and Doyenz.

Phil Evans

VP Sales & Business Development, EMEA

Phil is responsible for sales and business development activities in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). He has over 20 years of combined sales and business development experience in both North America and Europe. Phil was responsible for setting up the EMEA sales operations for EVault prior to Seagate's acquisition and the creation of i365 and held numerous positions at i365 including Director of Business Development (EMEA) and as VP of Sales for Northern Europe. Phil also served as a Director at a UK storage management company and established the European operations of Professional Services in EMEA for Legato Systems.

Alex Laskos

VP Engineering

Alex is responsible for setting the technical direction at Datacastle. He has 17 years of experience running software development organizations, delivering on time and to budget. Most of this experience is in Software as a Service (SaaS) and software manipulating data. Prior to Datacastle, Alex worked for Microsoft in the Microsoft Office Live team where he was responsible for the SaaS platform within the Microsoft Office organization. Alex also led data processing initiatives within Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft SQL Server. Prior to Microsoft, Alex led the development team at Peakhour, an early SaaS startup in Australia.

Andreas Bahm

VP Finance & Operations

Andreas is responsible for day-to-day operations and finance in support of Datacastle’s strategy. He has 17 years of management consulting experience, including eight years at Cambridge Technology Partners where he was a Director in the Strategic Services Group. Andreas has extensive international experience, including three years in London and Japan with Marakon Associates, a corporate strategy consultancy firm. Previously he was an Investment Advisor at Paine Webber and Dresdner Bank, Munich.
